if midget owen play, you think RB can tahan of letting him score? i think pool will win this match to save their face.

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

who mark owen? carra ar.

X-men SG

yup

X-men SG

Crouch and Gerrard were lucky not to follow Bowyer to the dressing room.

sometimes I pity Bowyer.. he seems to be the ref's thorn in the eye

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

that 2nd goal is crouch one or given og?

who sub pongolle

X-men SG

Crouch's goal.

Kewell replaced by Pongolle

Poolman SG

Laughing

X-men SG

should have been a more comfortable win if not for Mr GaoSiao missing so many chances...

If only there is no red card being issue it would be a better looking match.

Poolman SG

Reina's gloves very clean , not much dust !

Hyypia make Shearer looked like an apprentice .

Carra no time to mark Owen , Newcastle doesn't do much contribution to Owen .

Kewell best game so far since he signed for L'pool .

Crouch is a gem la , how am i right , those Toons' defense cannot handle him .

Overall , total domination .

Tomorrow headlines : " Bowyer gets another Red Card " instead of " Owen scores against L'pool " .

X-men SG

I think he can do better.

Poolman SG

To be fair to Given , he saves Newcastle from further blushes.

X-men SG

I thought he has been doing that Mr. Green

Newcastle needs better defenders.

Poolman SG

Newcastle's defense is one kind of gao xiao also , the way you saw them letting Crouch and Nando holding possession , you just want to cry for them .

Who Man-of-the-Match ar ?

the Bear SG

i didn't even need to watch...

Newcastle kinda blew it each time they hire a manager..

Sir Bobby was about the best after Keegan

the rest were less than useless.. Souness is about the worst..

Medicated Oil SG

Bobby convinced Alan Shearer to stay for one more season and to make him a player-manager.

For the present manager Souness, Shearer dun see any hope of taking the manager role that he have coveted.

Maybe he is trying to coax the Newcastle Management in sacking Souness and letting him take over if they want him to play on.

He think he is like Raul of Real Madrid.

As for Liverpool, they played with heart and gut last night.

Nando is still need more matches to score his goal.

As for Garcia, he is losing ball less and becoming more and more sulky.

Crouch is fulfiling his role as the ball holder up front for Liverpool.

dragg SG

liverpool has now conceded 1 goal less than chelsea in the premiership.

they are currently the team with the tighest defence.

SBS9828X SG

is it true that crouch scored? Coz i saw three heads for the ball, crouch the lowest Laughing not the tallest

RSP SG

Souness needs to work on his team's defence. They are in shambles almost every week. How can he live with that?

He's got a prized asset in Michael Owen. But everything builds from the back. If the defence is weak, the team will still struggle. He should have used to money he spent on Luque to get a better centre half.

Right from the start, it was a dominating performance from Liverpool. I think they were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was against Newcastle. Corressponding fixtures before have always been closely fought affairs.

CoolMyth SG

Seeing how Liverpool plays right now made me proud as a Liverpool fan. Cool

kpo SG

they were very lucky ... there may still be action against them ... hopefully not though ...

actually i thought the red card was a little harsh ...

CoolMyth SG

Lee Bowyer had been diving into players with two feet before that incident. Including that move by Kewell when he pushed the ball forward in the first half.

A red card was warranted.

I was surprised to see Gerrard coming in and pushing NC players as well. As the captain, he shall be the one calming his team, not instigating fights.

If I were Rafa, the first thing I'll say in the dressing room was to give the entire team a good reprimand. "What the hell were you guys doing?" etc etc. Cool
