VSC, no matter what, is VOLUNTARY.
Your focus shouldnt be just on it. Though its nice if you
are committed to the hours needed for the training, disciplin and
its duties later.
You should instead focus on your life. Like getting your
degrees, loving your family members, socialising with your friends
and generally getting on with life.
And even after you completed the training. You should
remember the above.
Most of the VSCs deployed, are passionate about the work.
We are committed, but we treat it more as a hobby, then something
that stagnant us in life.
VSCs built our character, our discipline, our personalities and
our confidence.
And no matter how painful, our VSCs are expected to protect
themselves first and foremost by being strong themselves, before
protecting others.
We serve to protect. We commit with passion, and we
volunteer with wisedom.
I know it sounds corny. Blame it on my 2am lack of sleep
pounding on the keyboards.
