Time moves pretty fast. Speaking of those days, I'm probably the last 20th century kid who still remember everything, before 21st century.

Short Ninja SG

A BBC series about psychics.

How about Never the Twain or Mind Your Language.

Mind your language-The first series were good. All series can now be found at Mustapha but at ripped off price...KNN mind your Singlish!!

Short Ninja SG

Am involved in a silent mobilisation now.

Does any of you boys remembers when and how you were activated for mobilisation recalls before they flashed on the tvs?

Do they still sms or call you even if the tv recall thing is happening?

pager tititititititititi......means go back to camp lor!

Short Ninja SG

Short Ninja SG

I still remember the early nineties. When we all started working and how my mother was objecting to the pager my sister has.

To them, its was 'working girl' thingy.

Technically, we carried pagers because we were indeed working.

Maybe we should ask Mr Chew what kind of handphone he first used,I can tell you that it was a bulky thing that comes in a set you must carry along.

Chew Bakar SG

Not into handphone thing. I find it an intrusive object.

Short Ninja SG

Later it became a one big handhone the Cantonese called it 'Big Brother Big'

My memory of the big gorrila at Haw Par Villa is blank. It is strange how the brain works when we tend to not recall the things so common such as 'King Kong'

Chew Bakar SG

Different people remember things differently.

How about the big fire at Robinsons at Raffles Place?

A BBC series about psychics.

How about Never the Twain or Mind Your Language.

BBC comedies were excellent..

does anyone remember this exuberant old dude called Magnus Pike in "Don't Ask Me" which was this wonderfully insane science series..

he was one of the professors who was in there along with botanist David Bellamy and Miriam Stoppard, MD...

he also appeared in Thomas Dolby's video of "She Blinded Me With Science"

Another big fire during 1970 Chinese New Year in South Bridge Road that prompted the govt to ban fireworks.

I remember David Bellamy the bearded guy on nature. Faint memory on Magnus Pike.

But remember Mike Hammer.
