Woah..... while I was brushing my teeth just now, a hugeass
centipede crawled out of the drainage hole of the
washbasin.... 
After I got over my shock, I quickly grabbed lotsa kitchen paper
and squashed it to death....
Pour a bottle of bleach down the drainhole to take care of any
other insects that might be inhabiting your drainage pipes.
