If I may ask everyone here..... in view of rising food prices,
what would be the greater crime for hawkers to do:
1. Increase prices, maintain quality and quantity
2. Maintain prices, reduce quality and quantity
Personally, I'd choose (1). The way I see it, the poor roti
prata uncle or the mee siam auntie is just trying to make ends
meet. If they don't raise their prices, their own earnings go down.
I don't mind paying a little more so long as QC is maintained.
Just like my favourite Indonesian Panggang stall at my faculty
canteen.... they've raised prices by 20 cents, but hey, QC is still
maintained, and I won't stop patronizing that stall.
Unfortunately, I've come across hawkers who increase prices
and reduce QC at the same time.
Oh yah.... McCrap is particularly guilty of this. Higher prices
and smaller portions.
lol tts why i don't eat macdonald anymore
sigh increase price and reduce portion is the worst la. they are
cheating us really.
