Meia Gisborn SG Wow, I didn't know that about Costco in SD. I was under the impression that Wal*Mart/Sam's Club had infiltrated every corner of this nation. So is it cheaper to shop at WM/SC or Costco? Gas is $2.80/gal. this morning over here. How come it's cheaper in CA??? Things are supposed to always be more expensive in CA--it's part of the order of the universe! Is taking a school bus an option for your daughter?

jetta SG Re: school bus. Yes, at $250 a month. We're out of the school district so unless there is another family who lives near me with a child in that district, carpooling is out. We'll work it out as time goes on. Although I've been debating working the closing shift but that also poses some problems too. *sigh* Like having to make dinner at 330pm so that I can be at work by 5. Re: cheaper gas in CA. Neh neny neh neh. Re: shopping at SC. I haven't been to one since I left Hawaii in 99. I was tempted to check the closest one out since I got my hands on a trial visit coupon but after reading the fine print, fuggedabouit. I'm not pay a 10% service fee for any purchases made via checking the place out. I'll stick with Costco tankyouveddymuch.

jetta SG Great ideas. I thought of ice cream but with the high temps we're having, it'll be soup. Next! Fudge is a good idea! And I have the perfect recipe. Question is: do I have all the ingredients? *rummages pantry*
