We're wiser than you think.
The stuff that I bought were seemingly bought with nary a thought
but they were mostly stuff I had wanted for more than a year.
I had my eyes on the Nintendo DS Lite before I left but decided to
wait and see. And I bought that many game cartridges because you
don't have a good variety over there and even if you do, they cost
more, so it was a good call.
I needed to change my mobile before I left because it was
threatening to stop working but I decided to hope for the best and
buy it on my trip home, which I did.
MP3 player, something I wanted to buy too, before I left for
Melbourne the first time round but again, decided to put it
off.
I wish I have the money to splurge senselessly, but I don't.
Therefore I spend carefully with what little I do have.
At least, I didn't go spend like thousands on some silly diamond
bangle at Tiffany's and then risk kena'ing mugged back in
Melbourne!
