Speaking of cows, one of my patients was a dairy farmer and
during the Great Ocean Road Coach trip, watching the cows grazing
in their pastures as the coach passed by the farms, I had a few
questions pop up in my mind so I asked the farmer if he could
answer them :
- Do herds of cows all face the same direction ever? (my friend
asked this one, hor, cause she claimed she noticed all cows face
sama-sama direction when grazing, but I proved her wrong, but
anyways...
); AND,
- Do cows ever get Skin Cancer?
He laughed, and then I got my answers!
Yes, cows only ever all face the same direction when it rains. And
that's simply cause nobody, cows included, likes to stand facing
the rain. So, when it rains, all cow butts to the rain!

AND, Yes, cows DO get Skin Cancer!!
BUT, apparently only the white cows do, or the
white parts of black-and-white cows.
He told me that white cows are kinda like the albinos of
the moo-moo world and due to the lack of pigmentation, the white
bits are prone to Skin Cancer. They get white cows with faces that
have lots of blisters and swells up like 'the mask in Phantom of
the Opera, that's how they look like' (direct quote from farmer),
or the white bits of cows get all blistery and yucky-looking.

Tamade... we may be drinking milk from cancerous cows or worse,
eating beef from them!
