the_don SG TX and I went there for dinner sometime back and wrote a feedback on their super duper salty pasta. Here is the reply: ===================================================== On 4/9/07, ILCaffeDiRoma wrote: Dear [my-name-i-removed-it], First of all, please let me apology for you about the salty pasta that you having. I do check with the kitchen site, they admit is their mistake. In here I will like to offer you a free set lunch for our mistake. Please print out these email and show it to our staff and you can enjoy the free set lunch. Regards General Manager Edward Hew ================================================ My jaw dropped when i saw this email. SOMEONE IS BOTHERING WITH CUSTOMER FEEDBACK!!! I must say I'm very impressed as this is the first (erhm okie 2nd time) I received any respond from those feedback forms. The best part is I was leaving them a comment, not a complain Anyway, the food is good. Pasta Al dante and sauce nice plus not overly creamy. Salad was v nice and service is pretty good. Price wise is average resturant price. Will I go back again? Ya for sure, not because of the email but because the food is good
mhcampboy SG wah use gmail sia.. im actually bothered with the powderful engrish the manager is using...
elindra SG Well the important thing here is the service Alot of service staff these days in Singapore are sadly foreign talents So can't blame them if their English isn't that great
Kuali Baba SG For a moment I thought this was going to be about the butchered English, but I'm impressed by the sincerity shown.
av98m SG Unfortunately there will be some who will abuse this kind of customer service and leave fake comments On a related note, McDonalds actually has pretty good follow-up to complaints/feedback too.
tare SG they really bothered... tat's the cool part. good service is hard to find [at least in sg]... but with the responses we get here abt ppl trying to fake complains just to get a free meal.... *lub chin* sometimes i really DUN blame the service staffs giving bad services to ugly singaporean...
