fudgester SG I can't. I took a 1 1/2 hour nap just now and a can of Nescafe, hoping to stay up to do some tutorials and go through some of my lecture notes. Now I can't seem to study properly anyway all thanks to my blardy nose. And I can't sleep either thanks to the caffeine.
viciouskitty74 SG I was luckier the other time. When I discovered passport not chopped. Simply ignore the custom and rode thru using the Malaysian Channel back to sg custom. And couldnt care less. Or was borthered. The guy in the custom counter gave the weirdest excuse for not chopping the passport. I didnt understand him but later, when I realised what it was. Doubled checked the passport and discovered it not chopped. Which is then how i brazen it out with the above actions. He was trying to tell me: Your photo is old. And he didnt chopped and returned mine & my pillions passport. I just rode off into Malaysia. My question: I was wearing a full face helmet at that time. That Malaysian Custom Guy has x-ray vision to have seen thru my full face riding helmet to know that I've aged????
the Bear SG in the malaysian side of immigration at the causeway link, especially the motorcycle lanes, usually no one is inside the booth just ask yourselves, how can ONE malaysian motorcycle lane clear passports faster than about 50 singapore lanes? i don't think the malaysian side cares at all... and the fella who kena thrown in prison, probably was due to his being arrogant and insolent.. that being said, i would wonder about the malaysian system of "justice"
tare SG no lah ppl everyday stamp visa, stamp until hand ache mah... so take a break dun stamp a few lor....
the Bear SG our side, if missed, kena terok terok... over there, they miss, their victims go to prison..
the Bear SG well, i am privy to a lot of things i am not at liberty to say they are a mess and then some
fudgester SG Hmm... I haven't had problems with Malaysian customs... But then again, I don't go overseas often... not even to JB. In any case, even though I look and speak Malay, I stand out in a crowd in JB about as much as Michael Jackson would. The last time I was in JB, when I spoke to the shopkeepers in Malay, a number of them actually replied in English.
the Bear SG i worked at the border for more than 5 years, rarely went into johor.. and like i said, i'm privy to a lot of information about them i'm not at liberty to say
the Bear SG wonder if the chinese dude there will turn it into snake soup but that's a reticulated python.. i think it's a protected species
sbst275 SG Anyway... The spectator stands for the NDP as well as the float is completed alrdy... But additional works needs to be done to provide road access from the shore
sbst275 SG That site will host the NDP at least for the ones in 07, 08, 09 2010 is to be at Padang w/ the Mobile Coleumn... 2011 will have to see if the Stadium is ready
the Bear SG the one just outside the bloody marina place? i was wondering what the heck it is.. sometimes i wonder why the NDP is so important? if they don't have a venue, just decentralise it like they did decades ago..
