jetta SG Exactly! And it's got a tart taste to it. Gimme good old chicken curry any day. Which makes me sad now because I've run out of my fave. curry powder which my Mum brought over during her last visit. I can get it online for about US$8 for just one packet. I can't bring myself to order it since it only costs S$1.60 at NTUC. I'll have to break down and ask Mum to send a load over.

jetta SG Er.. no thank you. Some of us have standards to uphold you know. When I was in Japan, the only time I ate their version of curry was out of desperation.

udontknowme SG codfish...yeah...it IS kinda expensive. but there is this wholesale place at woodlands where my mom gets a lot of seafood from... its a hell lot cheaper there.
jetta SG Did your Mum toss the box away? There are many kinds of curry, from the sweet to the spicy. Codfish is great for fish and chips. I may go get some and have that for dinner tonight *rubbing chin*

jetta SG Where? When I was a kid, there was a fish and chip shop by the house. I have never and will never ever have fish and chips as delicious as that ever again.
