I only go for fish from sustainable stocks ...... or farm bred ones ....

like dorado, farm salmon, white or striped bass etc ....

in Singapore I'd go for kelong farmed seabass and garoupas .....

the cod is especially endangered .... in one season some years ago the whole atlantic coast of Canada caught 7 cod ! .... yeps, 7 ! .....

so think about that when you bit into that fish and chips ... Laughing

tilapia is a crap fish ..... some of us have standard to uphold you know ... Mr. Green

it's really a crap fish, and a pest species from south america that destroys ecosystems throughout the US south (it ravaged the ecology of southeast asia when it was introduced in WWII) ......

so .... by buying it, you're infact encouraging the breeding of more of these pests in farms, where they could be inadvertently introduced to new waters ....

so say no to tilapia ! ... Very Happy
