just a monkey..or maybe a chim..heck they're fun and smart..

browniebaobao SG

Shocked u mean it eat fish?

elindra SG

It eats fish, plants, frogs, snakes, rats, other turtles

the Bear SG

the snapping turtle will eat anything... it'll also eat carrion and fingers and toes of unfortunate people who go and poke the thing Laughing

i like pets which don't need much care when it comes to feeding

sorta like hamsters

browniebaobao SG

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

I rem last time my mum fed turtle with bread..

I always tot turtles are vegetarians!

alwaysdisturbed SG

scary...

elindra SG

Snapping turtles are no fuss
You dump fish inside and it will help itself Laughing
Or leftover food if you want to feed it that

Yeah it can do nasty things to your fingers if you are stupid enough to poke at it

browniebaobao SG

..............

it's so scary! Sad

elindra SG

All turtles are omnivores!
Even your terrapins will catch fish and eat if you allow it

the Bear SG

bbb, i think for you, should stick to hamsters.. they're fuzzy and cute and harmless Laughing

are there local scorpions?

maybe i'll be able to keep without AVA hounding me?

elindra SG

Maybe if you can find one in someone's garden or something and keep that as a pet Laughing

I think pacman frogs look dumb and cute but is a monster when it comes to food.

the Bear SG

around here? hmmm.. there are squirrels in the park tho' Laughing

and yeah.. that's the thing about the frogs.. they look so cute and dumb.. actually, they are dumb... in the wild, a lot die when they try to eat each other, one suffocating, and the other choking to death Razz

elindra SG

Erhmm Pacman frogs are dumb alright and they are poor swimmers can can drown if you have too much water in their tank

Why not keep a African Clawed Frog. Totally aquatic Mr. Green
Feeds on bloodworms and can catch it's own fish to eat Laughing

the Bear SG

saw this frog at work in a documentary before...

frogs which ambush fast-moving things are hilarious in slow motion!

they charge forward with mouths wide open and one of the front legs will shove their prey into their mouths Laughing

browniebaobao SG

hahahaha..

actually I still prefer cats.

breytonhartge SG

lots of fun stuff like rays and even sharks... Mr. Green

elindra SG

yup they do that
In fact they look a bit like cookie monster when they eat
especially when they use 2 front legs to attempt to shove a whole bloodwork cube into their mouth Laughing

elindra SG

Rays?
I have those as pets
But you might want to think twice coz they are alot of work Laughing

Rhonda SG

I think if elindra's turtle ever gets to be THAT big, she intends to keep it in her bedroom, and then just throw her pillow and blanket on it and sleep on its shell. Laughing Twisted Evil

SGpork SG
