Yes, i know of an aquarium which sells scorpions...
I used to frequent this shop in Tiong Bahru cos it frequently
stocks unusual and exotic freshwater fishes. One day the owner
pulled me aside, whispered that he noticed i was always looking for
wierd creatures and that he had something for me. He disappeared
round the back of the shop for awhile, then emerged with a big (i
think around 10cm) scorpion resting on the back of his hand. He
wanted to place it on the back of MY hand. Goodness.. i was damn
freaked out.
Well anyway, from the secretive way that he tried to peddle his
scorpions, i suppose that they are not legal pets in
Singapore.
Yikes... the only pets that i can keep are fishes, aquatic
invertebrates and turtles. Cats and dogs are too dirty and noisy,
creepy crawlies like scorpions, spiders, salamanders, lizards and
iguanas are out too.
