jetta SG Prices here are unbelieveable! San Diego is the 6th most expensive place to live in and the housing prices reflect that. I would love to remain in this neighbourhood but a typical house here costs $600K. Even 30 year old homes like the one I'm renting (2275sqf) costs $650K to buy. Only a 20 min commute to the base for hubby.) And don't talk about dumps. We've gone to see many homes and even dumps are expensive! *%#&$&%&%#)(&* My lease is up in Oct. Penalty to break? Would still have to pay the rent till then even if I've moved.

Vancouver, having the mildest winter in Canada is ranked 15th. Oh, over here if we break the lease, I think the peanlty is like 2 months rental. I think, I may be wrong but I know we can break lease. jetta SG Seattle? Only as a last resort. After being overseas for so long and being stationed in places like Singapore, Hawaii and here, we are all used to the warmer climates. Yes things are cheaper in Seattle and we have family there but.... San Diego has a higher military presence than Seattle so jobs here are easier to find since Hubby is navy. If anything, we can build equity here and take it up to Seattle if things don't work out here. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

HUBBY CANNOT SING AH? hubby and i both sing but *ahem* i am a better singer. actually i was to go for a singing competiton. an english one. he knows i can make it so make small excuses about me competing. since i know he doesn't feel comfortable, i respect his wishes and withdrew. he is the macho macho man type so didn't really say outright lah but i can tell lah. he knows me just like i know him. while i love to sing and singing makes me happy. however, seeing him or making him happy makes me happier. so yes, sacrifices, sacrifices, sacrifices.
