Rhonda SG Biangz!! What a horror! $150-200 is waaaaay too much! Last year, my ward organised a gift exchange thing where everyone writes their names, folds up the paper, and throws it into a bottle and we pick ONE from there, then go and buy a gift for that person whose name we've picked. The budget was only min. $10 each gift, which I felt was a decent amount. (Although there were cheapskates who gave gifts less than $10! )
Rhonda SG I bought a Christmas gift for SL because I chanced across something that I just knew she'd love and I had to grab it before it was out-of-stock! I haven't officially started Christmas gift-shopping yet but I think this year, I'll whittle down my list to ... hmm... two or three others? Maybe, 10 or so? Dunno, haven't seriously sat down to play Santa and create a gift list yet! I think I might just have to gonna find out who's naughty or nice soon!

browniebaobao SG so far I got a xmas tigger gift sock (for hanging and putting ur gift inside).. very cute one.. from AUS. Bought for a tigger fan lor. next, a swarovski crystal (cross pendant) and will go and get customized puzzle (portrait) and DIY something lor.. for gift exchange.. i haven got anything yet.
Rhonda SG I saw a couple of those cushions with the really soft, squishy tiny li'l balls inside... whatchamacallit? ... and now, they come with really lovely, vibrant prints on them too! They cost over $10 each but they're soooo pretty!! It would be great to own a few, and just throw them about the house!

Rhonda SG Waaaah! Swarovski crystals!! I love 'em! They sparkle gooooood!! When I was a teen, mom got me a few Swarovski pendants but I can't, for the life of me, remember where I kept them! I think those customised stuff are awesome! They have those laser-engraved portraits from photos that you have, engraved onto silver pendants / plagues, etc... quite kewl!
browniebaobao SG yeah~ but I haven go and find out the price of the customized puzzle yet.. wana give my buddy a surprise. haha.. every yr i will hand make something for her.. u were so lucky.. swarovski crystal really not cheap. i got my first one this yr.. and i din buy from swarovski..coz they really mark up the prices a lot.. i know coz I worked there during my attachment.
Rhonda SG Even so, their crystal designs are sooo lovely! My mom collects them and is a member of the Swarovski Club. She also imports crystals to make into accessories which she sells at close to cost price to her friends and colleagues. Whenever I see something she's made that I like, she always gives it to me free! She gets angry if I insist on paying her! I love to go over and play with her crystals! So nice to dig around her boxes of crystals!

Rhonda SG Yeah! Mom imported so many crystals that Swarovski even allowed her to buy the authentic Swarovski tags to attach to her accessories. And I think making your own accessories is fast catching up here although it was already the in-thing in Japan donkey years ago.

I think she does right? coz she has to be a swarovski crystal society member in order to purhcase the annual editions.. and then she has to be a member at a particular store.. so which store is it? sekali i served her before.
