Good suggestion abt the 2nd hand shop...have been to cash converters and one or two shops, but not many to choose from. Any good shops you know of?

Choco, I'm thinking of something semi formal which can be worn for work as well. Budget wise....hmm...I guess...up to a few hundreds? Question It really depends...if it's love at first sight...erm...then...we'll see how. Razz

BTW, there is a bookfair going on at Bras Basah Complex....many types of books (except new novels) are on discounted price or 20%, and of course, can visit the revamped [email protected] - popular book store. Smile

American / British / Aussie mags are best for Christmas time! The decorations are awesome! I love the way they dress up their Christmas trees! Very Happy

And then, there are the parties they throw and the stuff they cook! Oh man, do they COOK during this season!

And in mags like Good Housekeeping (US Edition), they have stories of love and miracles, kinda like Chicken Soup for the Soul kinda stuff, that will really warm your hearts and souls this season. Wink

Pop @ central is the revamp Popular book store.

Well, since u asked, er....can I say no? Laughing It depends on when...things will be getting busy with CNY coming on so soon. I wished I had bought those pencils fitted with a colourful wooden animal when I was in Bali...can give to the kids.
