Wanda SG Erm...maybe wait till June 2006? They've got the a cat a day calender, and one for bears as well, if I remember correctly.
Rhonda SG After my second night shift, I crawled down to Borders just so I could purchase the 365 Cats A Year calendar. They have quite a few cat calendars that I'd love to get, esp one by Charles Wysocki! You can keep the calendars and frame up the pictures to hang around the house later! In Borders' first few years of business here, they'd start giving hefty discounts off their calendars starting late Oct. Darnit... they don't do that anymore! I guess too many folks hold off buying the calendars, in anticipation of the discount, and Borders wizened up to it.

Rhonda SG It pays to wait before you make your purchase sometimes! I wanted to get the pink tote bag with this month's Female mag but all I've seen were the yucky green ones. So, I waited, and waited... and I went to lotsa places, watching out for it... And ta-daaaah!! Today, I saw it!! The one and only Female with a PINK tote bag!! I grabbed it and yippeee!! It's mine! And I've also held off buying this month's Her World cause of a sense of unease somehow... call it 6th sense or something... and today, at the newstands, a copy of Her World came along with three free bottles of chicken essence!! My spate of bad luck's changing to good luck now! Feng1 shui3 luen2 liu2 zuan3!! The tides are turning for me! Whoooppeee!!

Rhonda SG Went to Times the Bookshop at Centrepoint today and was shocked to see how much smaller it has become! I entered the shop and went straight to the cookbooks on display and with special discounts and didn't turn back to look, and the suddenly, when I turned around, I was !!! Soooo small!! It's really a fraction of its old space! Anyways, they have selected books on discount right now. You can pick up a copy of their latest brochure to have a look-see. They also have a Sudoku hand-held LCD game at a great price! And oh, check out their cookbooks on discount! There are three new local publications at 20% off.
Wanda SG Thanks for the tip on Times, Rhonda. Borders also have many cookbooks at discounted prices, usually around $11.95. But they are big books which are difficult to read in bed.
