Huh?? How can a guy be THAT dumb to NOT know that he has feelings for me?? Razz He seems like a very intelligent chap to me so I don't think he wouldn't know if he had feelings for me.

And well, Fatum is right - the Australian continent is not about to disappear, so, in the words of Princess Arwen in LOTR, "If you want me, come and get me!"

Things have been set in motion, deadlines are up and no... I don't wish to delay this any longer. I already have, for personal reasons, and I regret that decision. If I had stuck to my original plan, I would have left by July this year.

Thanks, MG! It was extremely traumatic for me. The cleaning up is horrendous! And it's not finished yet... there's more to do tomorrow but I can't do much now because the pipes are choked. Razz

Oh well, I've proved resilient again once more! Laughing I think I looked pretty sinister to the guys living upstairs! Twisted Evil I never knew I could shout so loud, expletives included too! Razz Embarassed

And yeah, tomorrow, the upgrading contractor is going to get absolute HELL from me! I had to wait more than one and a half freaking hours before they took action and I think I probably wore out my phone speakers, yelling into them so many times today! Razz

I think that song, 'She is a devil-woman...' was written with me in mind! Twisted Evil I really acted like I was a devil from hell tonight! Laughing

Men are essentially, still ... hmm... in Chinese, jian4. If a guy knows you have the hots for him, he'll revel in it and take the girl for granted, acting like a total jerk towards her, knowing that she'll still hang around him.

But whoa... give the man a girl who snubs him, ignores him, does not worship the ground he walks on, and I give you a man who is dead-set interested in pursuing this currently-unattainable chick.

Um, quick word of advice: don't go too overboard on the shouting and screaming part. The flooding might have been traumatic for you, but the important thing now is to get those responsible for it (i.e., the contractor) to make amends. Tell them what you want done; be firm, perhaps even forceful. But don't go flying off the handle with expletives and the whole nine yards, as it may diminish the contractor's resolve to make things right with you.

I've found that, in dealing with others, even if they have done you wrong, a little diplomacy goes a long way.

I got my window fixed super fast by saying 'thanks' to the right people, and increasingly turning up the anger / firm thing when it was needed. Laughing Let the right people know you're angry and know what you want to fix the problem using the best way that's needed. Different strokes for different folks.
