Basically, he wanted to say, 'Sorry, ma'am! No space for you on the plane!'. But, he did it with such tact and diplomacy.

If it were you, you'd just say something like, 'You're too heavy, the plane cannot take off lah!' Rolling Eyes Laughing

As long as certain people and mindsets continue to dominate the Singapore government, I personally feel that the battle cannot be won.

I feel that the govt ought to examine the push-pull factors that drives Singaporeans to migrate, paying special heed to the push factors.

Afterall, migration isn't easy and yet, so many of us are doing it. Why?

Instead of examining that and finding a possible solution to stem the flow and improve the standard of living here, they turn around and insult those of us who made the brave move beyond yonder shores.

If you can't win 'em, insult 'em? Isn't that kinda like sour grapes? Like what the Chinese say, "Chi1 bu2 dao4 pu2 tao2, shuo1 pu2 tao2 suan1"! (Cannot eat the grapes so comment that the grapes are sour anyways!) Razz
