And, the glazed glass door in your common toilet... when the lights are turned on in there, wouldn't there be erm... silhouettes? Razz I'd be too Embarassed to use your toilet. hehe!

Hey Elindra, just chanced upon your renovation thread..(At first I thought it had something to do with Reno , Nevada).

Nice house you have there, and the black and grey tiles remind me of my own toilets. Laughing Except mine is more of the rustic sort with lots of pebbles and slate/basaltic materials.

Yeah, but if it's dim outside, and brightly lit in the bathroom, it can be pretty revealing! Embarassed If I use your bathroom, I will turn off the lights until I'm off the potty. Mr. Green

Well, only 2 next door neighbours who will peek. However I think peeking is normal as anyone will be curious to see who is their new neighbour. One man's meat is another man's poison so the design is still up to individual taste Very Happy

Yes it is very exciting!!!! How can anyone not be excited. You know I was soooo worried initially that it won't turn out nice. I kept asking my designer cum contractor "Are you sure it will be nice" Laughing "Confirm nice huh"

All renovations, excluding furnishings and electrical items costs us about 42k plus. The carpentry work is included though.

You don't need 42k to do reno. We spent so much because we hacked a few walls, changed the flooring, did the rewiring, changed all pipings and toliet accessories. We hacked away the wall tiles as well.

Tare, the total damage is $9,750.00 just for the kitchen. This includes hacking away the kitchen tiles and replastering, flooring, cabinets, waterproofing etc

Cooker hood etc not inclusive
