Thought all along the camera there only catch pte cars for illegal parking? Wrong. Kena a letter from LTA, fine $70. Says parking on double yellow line, caught by CCTV. Waiting also cannot....sian.

Waiting of course cannot lah, if the Q is moving and lots of pax there, and yr cab is moving slowly, it is ok. But stopping there to wait whereby it only 2 to 3 taxis on Q, it will be an offend if you park out of the Q, this one I also kenna before..at Clemeti..phuixxx

Under the Road Traffic Act, "Park" means to bring a motor vehicle or a trailer to a stationary position and cause it to wait for any purpose other than that of immediately taking up or setting down persons, goods or luggage.

yalor, pte grabcar and uber car can go in a pick people and LTA think oh, pte car taking friends or relatives, but taxi go into camera zone to pick people kenna summon..phuixxx nabey chao hi

So, now u all know why pte grabcar and uber is getting so lucku,....because they can pick and go anywhere and act as a pte car, taxis hv to follow strict regulations, hv to take TVDL, do refresher, cannot park here and there, must be 30 years old and above, must give good service, ....must Q properly, ..

$70, meaning consider mild liao, if queue beyond taxi stand is $50 fine, why only tio $70 for double yellow line offence meaning they quite lenient on you le.....

Those camera if tio is $300 and 3 points if I can remember properly, the sign also big big show there.....

Lj lah, u dunno singapore laws meh...$300 is max lah, most of the time LTA or traffic police will fine you the minimum if you are first timer, this also allow them to increase if you argue further,....tio bo?

How did my parking offence escalate to more than $100?

When a parking offence is committed, reminder notices will be sent to the vehicle owner or driver for settlement. If there is no response or payment made within the stipulated grace periods, an additional $100 will be imposed on the original amount.

Can I still settle the summons without attending Court, even though I missed the payment due date stated on the Court letter 50/2/2M?

You have to pay $300 under ATOMS (Automated Traffic Offence Management System) at any AXS station before 5pm on the Court Mention Date stated on the letter.

Otherwise, you will need to attend Court if no payment is made for the case by 5pm on the Court Mention Date stated. A Warrant of Arrest will be issued against you if you are absent from Court.

What are the penalties that would be imposed by the Court?

The penalty would be either a Court Fine of up to $2,000 and/or an imprisonment of up to 3 months.

See already lah, u think I blind one ar? me also kenna until cooked liao, still dunno meh, even asked the assist commissioner for photo for prove, he farked me, told me to get a lawyer first, $70 dun pay, later lost case, you may hv to pay $7000 for both lawyer's fees, the judges and his time. So, i lan lan went and pay, but I also ask him, why not $300, he told me,...Uncle, you know rich singaporeans lah, u said $70, they not scare one lah, so depend lor, you Taxi uncle right, $70, if pte BM or Merc..$300 to them sup sup water
