Japanese lady.
I press 5 minutes as it was a distance away.
reached there around 6 mins and press arrived.
At the lobby another cdg cab alight another pax.
I was just behind the cab.
suddenly my mdt flashed call cancelled
ccb the jap lady board the cab in front.

I did something. ....but will announce later.

In my shoes. ...what will you do?

Simple lah. At night call him/her wake up then KNNBCCB #%^@$^* then he/she huh? Then quickly sorry sorry wrong number.....Then repeat the process few more times until he/she tulan ^&%&*$&# you. But ok lah. Anyway objective achieved tio kan also song but his/her sleep is distrubted. Repeat the process every few other days with different phone number. Or use public phone if driving night shift. Like that loh

Actually it also can work both way lah. For me I mostly grab. If got company call I take loh. But grab still on. Reach call out. Wait until the no show button come out. Then continue to wait if pax tu and grab tio better job. Sorry....no show and bye bye.....

You nite driver har. Peak hour call is damn important for day driver. coz we only have 3.5 hours. I start late so I have 2 or 1.5 hours only. run call nvm but cancel fast is ok 4 me. Arrived already cancel is damn tulan. CDG also another knnbccb. ..press arrive still can cancel

my cdg friends tells me cdg jobs are dirty these days, diesel cheaper, they throw u jobs that are further away, those right in front of u, even 3min is hard to get it. he rather just drive on grab street pax than to waste least 5-8mins to get the booking pax during peak hours.

only in ulu places, the pax will likely wait till u come

Thanks for advice. Am gog to bukit merah or sin ming to sign up. Run call is part of Td job risk. This I understand. This post is about what we should do. I was there to witness pax board the 1st taxi. so have to do something. If no show then swallow n move on lor. ok back to my part....Call cancelled liao. so I drove in front of the lobby driveway exit. Call cancel mah so I need to exit the condo. The other taxi still in lobby driveway. Road so narrow so I make a 3 point turn to return back to condo gate. Take my time slow turn. hazard light on. took few minutes. Jap pax took the hint.....quickly run to my taxi. then sent her loh. During the journey lecture her. reach liao told her to pay peak hour call surcharge. I am prepared to quit CDG if she lodge a compliant. Knn my right I have to stand strong.

Aiya, TDs where got old or new bird, as long as can get paxs, smlj birds also good.

TDs just hv to bear with certain hazards that is beyong your scope of control, you might not know that one of your pax is also one that called but jumped into your cab, Taxis rules are make for TDs to follow strictly, but it system is make for the public, not for TDs.

If the system is make to be abusing, as per yr case, then do you think a cab driver will ever ask the pax in a condo, “ARE YOU ON CALL SIR< IF SO< PLEASE WAIT FOR YOUR CAB”...if a cabbie is to do that in a pick and go situation, I think that cabbies cannot make it as a TD.

So, learn to give and take, as the system provide more avenue for paxs and calls, TD must change to adapt, to be faster, more nimble and smarter, for all you know, a pick and go pax to AP could be one who had booked an advance call.
