Aiyah..so difficult to get cab, pax more kiasu and kiasi than us lah...most times they will be there waiting for us.

And very often, pax book cab is because they are late for their appointment liao..

Out of 10, maybe only one or two must wait longer than necessary for them. Wait then wait lor...if never come, then press no show and life goes on lor..next...

But that's just me. I am just a simple minded taxi driver.

Ya lah let them rot lah. This morning I grab a call. Took 7 minutes to arrive. Meaty trip from Tampines to CCK. Repeat order cos that time no cab. Reach there bui chee pax yaya ask me "why so long? If you know you will take so long dun bid the job and waste my time." Wah knnbccb bo taxi liao lim peh help her still yaya. Nevermind I cx her call on the spot. Dun want to get down sibo? I off engine go down smoke. Then she scare liao tolong tolong me. I tell her uncle buay song liao. She bid on the spot I cx on the spot. Rot lah! Good trip also bo chap. Teach her a lesson. KNNBCCB

Once no show appear, try make a call, if no answer or engaged, move out liao...confirm hijacked or kenna play out, no more entertaining smlj call.. ...TDs must hv bones, they can kill us with no show, but dun torture us

Call is to make sure correct nos, then later when I do night shift, at 3 am, limpek go to public phone to call them to wake up to go toilet.

Aiya, no shows is part and parcel of our taxi industrial business, same goes to hijack, cancel and so on. Just take it as a hazard like all other industrials, then as you drive, you will learn on where can take call, where cannot take, and you must also admit that once you take, your also take the risk of it no show, we are alway at the expense of the public, LTA, TP and taxi companies

don't hv the habit of calling pax especially now bcoz ur pax might be happily sitting inside another cab while u gong gong waiting n calling them

This is the local mentality again.I spend money,i am King,u must wait for me.We shoud really learn from the Japanese instead.Spoke to a teenager Japanese pax and ask her why when on call,they are always there first waiting for taxi driver.She told me from young,her parents taught her the taxi driver is providing a service for us.To respect him and his profession,we must not let him wait.Most importantly,they dun have the <<limbeh kai rui,limbeh si li laopei attitude>>.Its about time we (including myself) should change this kind of mentality.Its all about mutual respect as human being.

We are their driver, maid etc. This is their mentality. So far encounter these type: 1. Go coffee shop tabao. Knn must wait 15 to 20 mins. 2. Go atm. ...very common encounter. 3. Ask me to go against traffic direction. 4. Ask me to stop double yellow zig zag line....think baffolo market. 5. Give money very fast to me and then alight. Then realised erp I pay. 6. And many more.....knnn

Now pax with taxi app can cancel call themselves. No need call operator. Some cheapo pax can see u coming and cancel the call then board ur taxi without having to pay call charge

When you asked VIP the normal fare she paid, she might tell you $12, you also lan lan…press meter better. But if she told you $18, you do not press the meter, reached, press those Ks to mark up to $18, then swipe the VIP card.

Anyway, I am sorry for yr $3 to 4 dollar lost, but if this $3 to 4 dollars can teach you a good lesson, take it as a course fee and move on.

To make a mistake is ok, but to make the same mistake is not so ok, and finally, to make the same mistake and yet blame and curse at others….u go figure it out yourself

VIP just means they take cabs frequently. Nothing special. Does not mean that they are good passengers or elites or people holding high positions with high pay. Can be an office clerk also.

I also seldom forget to press but got one time forgot until the end of journey. Luckily my ang moh pax is generous.

Sometimes in day time, too glaring, got press or not also can't see or remember. Sometimes press again and kena stop meter, lol
