well, if anyone thinks that the hirer is going to eat you, dont collabrate and work with him lo. My hirer pay 106 per day inclusive of gst, still charge me 53. initially i tot hirer will just ask me pay 50, easy to count...how i know he even count the 3 bucks.

sometimes, just close one eye, or both eyes. if till one day, cannot close liao. Just throw the key back to him lo.

Hirer don't get discount from coy, u expect hirer give relief discount?

Depend lah, if permanent relief, both should share the benefits and rental, for weekends relief, hirer should lower the rental, especially in the morning shift, no peak mah.

actually like what others say, if hirer makan, at most dont sign with him lo. simple as that.

v hard to makan one la. at most ppl play smelly when topping up diesel? When top liao, usually the 1st click sound when the pump indicate is full, at most i top up another 2 bucks of diesel nia.

if relief BTH the hirer or vice versa, just find new one loh.

usually after pumping, when hear 1st click, i just top up $2 more nia. this one dont need to talk one la. But once a while, when i am driving an average km, i knew my hirer makan me about 10 dollars for the fuel...arya i say fuck in my heart.

i was told there's a 'sport' button to activate the turbo, but press liao no diff leh..... maybe he means '猪母' (hokkien)....

for i40 diesel top up is different from sonata, the passage way of the gas tank is like a boomerang, after click still can pump another 10 litre.... so always have to pump till rim to ensure full tank before handover, but the diesel goes down much faster than sonata, so the wait is not too bad...... after days of tried out, at best 12.5km/l, most days are 12km/l...... the first few days the diesel was under pump when i took over, when i end shift calculate... knn 10km/l, sometimes 11km/l, i highlighted it to the hirer then it becomes 12km/l now, maybe i should hightlight more then it will be like what the hyuandai claim it to be 13-15km/l?

nowadays, i drive until scare liao. thinking of target to hit. But usually when drive night after 6pm, 2 hours can cover rental liao, if good can also cover diesel.

This apply to half a day rental.

dont say liao la. I learn a bad habit. Usually, after 2 hours of driving, i usually check the MDT, if hit 70 to 80 bucks meaning safe liao, plus also check timing.

Then when reach around midnight, i check again. See hit 100 nett bo, if bo. I see where i am. usually on wednesday night, i will tell myself F la. go rest, tomorrow than earn back the loss. haha. Usually some nights, 80 to 150, sometimes 180 nett.

But nowadays very less calculative liao. Earn how much, by my set timing i keep taxi liao. Usually to get 100 nett, is about 13 - 14 pax. about there la.

Some nights, i really low morale, only drive my home area, drive until song..happy happy park cab nua. Pick up my phone play game. happy then drive again.

Really can go crazy.

The car, must have power....

Must be smooth.....

Must be able to manoveur fast, ie carpark turning, sharp corner, dead end 3pts turn.....

Must be comfortable to drive in, not drive until giddy, giddy, or jerk here, jerk there until backbone pain.....

Than your driving pattern also will be different.....

I got to admit, my last Lau kok kok merc is really a let down, luckily, limpek already recover from life, arbo with this kind of vehicle, everyday lose money only.....

My best days is still the Sonata, 1st gen Sonata, twin turbo.....

Brand new car, si beh ho chiong, piak call also number 1.....

As for recent year those new cab, I think only Chevy can match although I never drive before, but from my friends feed back lor, 6 speed somemore......

the sonata turbo is like being given a bj b4 having sex, now i40 is like straight away just sex lor, luckily the i40 won't be able to read newspaper and tell me faster when i'm driving it....... however many pax like the i40 and said they don't mind paying the 50 cents more as compare to sonata, they also like the seats a lot and said it's a very nice comfortable taxi, somemore almost half of my pax got give tips, be it keep the coins or dollar$$$..... knn pax got climax with the i40 but i don't have leh........

Turbo very easy to burnt…u think I at cdg not doing study ar? Safety first mah, but touch wood, up to now, no cabby nor a pax burnt inside a cab, but if it happen, I can tell you, LTA and govt is going to clamp down on Taxis company turbo cars.

it is all about maintainence of the vehicle. of course, maintainence -> $... will taxi company paid more to maintain the vehicle. the answer is obvious.

No lah Peter Pan, Captain Hook said, toyota crown got worst maintainence than all others, yet it is very old but not even one get burnt.

Mileage wise, crown also hv high mileage per day same same as those turbo’ed taxis,

what happen is that turbo go faster, more shiok to drive, but asian BB car are not meant to hv turbo, only the like of sport and continental car tends to fix with turbo, because their engine, electrical system and most importantly, the cooling system are make to take a turbo’ed engine.

However private sonata, renault and chevy are not turbo, turbo is sudden torque (power surge incease) by blowing more air into the engine, and at the same time, an outlet turbo to take out the exhaust faster, as such, it hv a good pick up, but if the cooling system is unable to cope, burnt part and reduction of efficiency may start to affect the engine leading to high fuel wastage and heating up.

So, for cdg and smrt, they decided not to move toward the turbo taxis, and that is why they go into pirus and i40

bowah, i believe they do a study or a tracking list on what are the rates on types of taxis getting into accident.

so far, the friendly types of taxis are showing low rates of accident. haha.

crown is cheap cheap...how to compare? They already earn this type of model until koyak liao, still can leech until KO.

That is why I said, burnt, drive into 7 pavement, knock here and there..in fact from a crown driver, switching to i40 is perfect for them, the speed same same like their crown, yet better seating and control, the only thing is rental too high but this can offset by lower fuel cost and higher flag down rates.

Some i40 are offering $100 per day for super relief, for weekends, the offer is generally 110. Last time, limpek take crown only $60 for a whole day

my side, i manage to find one hirer offering Hyundai Azera but havent ask about his rental per day. Next block nia, very tempted. haha. but only drive sat whole day. Let me just sit on the fence 1st. haha.

Hyunda azera must make sure diesel driven, not CNG hor, if not reach AP must use petrol liao…lols. Now it is the most wanted cab..lols, flag down limo rate, rental lower than sonata..wow

any idea what's the rental for Azera? i kinda sick of sonata 1st gen. i see the sonata 2nd gen very up. Everytime during the traffic light, always side by side with me, limpei yellow city cab vs 2nd gen blue sonata...really cmi or even renault latitude..once green light, i always heart pain. haha. no fight. you over exert the accelerator also run that much nia. really lugi.

So change game plan, try to step the speedometer less than 2, or even 1.5 or even 1 if can...if 1, i tell you everyone horning me like F.

accelerate fast or drive fast sometimes no use. you new TD izzit ? slower sometimes can catch passenger.... faster no use
