Just to make you people understand what the diesel hike has done
to cabbies .
See ..... in 2002 , the diesel per km , cabby's paid only $0.44 /
10 km , so if every cabby work up to 300km every night , his diesel
cost is about $13.20 only .
Now 2006 , the cost of diesel is $0.89 per 10 km , so in simple
calculation , per 300 km , cost of diesel is $26.70 .
The diff ? $26.70 - $13.20 = $13.50 differnce a night !
Hahaha ... for you people is : " What ? $13.50 only "
But in reality , cabby work 31 days ..... u just multiply
accordingly ...... amount $418.50 per month for diesel .
What will happen if your boss tells you your salary will be $400
less each month ?
Of course u not happy , right ?
Now the cabby is not happy , their salary less $400 minimum each
month .
Thing have to be done , right ?
Do i make sense here ?
