There's an update to the laptop prices they're selling in NUS...the 12" ibook now has only 30GB HDD and 768MB RAM...for $1688! Plus the 5% GST is not yet added in. Once in, it costs $1772.40! And no bluetooth....geez.

Online selling 12" iBook with 40GB HDD and 512mb RAM, $1788!

Not much price diff huh...I think the online's offer pretty good too....Hmmm Confused

Hmm, there is some truth in it.My CRT output and my prints differ noticeably..unlike my Mac.But the best screen for photo work would have to be the 17" Powerbook, with a higher resolution capability.

For the iBook, you've got to do some adjustment, it also helps if you know about colour profiles, something I'm not too expert with yet..

I didn't know apple has this rumour with it's powerbook screen.

It would be the Mac OS calibration that is making the colour accuracy and difference from CRT or LCD.

The Key is in the OS

Hinge and casing are important, but more impt is how they build the hinges & casing! Laughing
