Viewed the last episode a few nights ago.
I've read the scanlated manga up to chapter 73, and must admit that
the necessary shortcuts and changes the producers made to the story
to end the animé at ep. 26 made for a very disappointing
conclusion. Ep. 26 felt very contrived and clichéd (I mean, where
the hell did the volcano and lava pits come from???), and Raki's
crybaby antics were a severe drag on the pacing of the
episode.
The animé was excellent up
until ep. 19 (or thereabouts), when it started to deviate severely
from the manga.
