201911 SG but when i look at street directory the area around Joo Koon stn like got lots of factories, so dunno where LTA gonna build the bus int sch holidays got time think i may go and take a look at that place
DMC05 SG Next to the location of the Joo Koon station is a big empty field. The bus interchange should be located there. Have they begun to construct the roof of Pioneer station yet? It'd be interesting to see that taking place.
^tamago^ SG Pioneer station update. 'Arches' are up. When commissioned, the viaduct east of Pioneer will have the highest clearance of any rail viaduct above a road, at 12.20 metres. In comparison, Sengkang Town Centre's LRT viaduct had a clearance of 11.13 metres, BPLRT above Upper Bt Timah Rd is almost 10 metres, and the highest MRT viaduct clearance is at Bt Batok Central, just south of Bt Batok station, at 9.72 metres. Realise how the viaduct goes all the way up and you can't spot Boon Lay station at the end of the descent. Close-up of the 'arch'. Concourse and its southern staircase.
