No need to make drastic changes. All our players were not playing well. Terry and Lampard, usually reliable, suddenly were not sharp enough.

I think Mourinho knows better than to chop here chop there. He probably also will admit that Boro played this game better.

Well done Middlesbrough!

While Chelsea attacked and attacked in the second half, Middlesbrough managed to contain them extremly well and even managed to score from a counter attack. All 3 goals were scored from Chelsea right wing-- Rochemback, Downing and Yakubu all cut in from the right and then blasting into the net. Whoever playing at the right flank will surely get a scolding from Mourinho!

I hope to hear what kind of excuse or comments Mr Arrogant Mourinho will give. Very Happy

Mourinho may be arrogant and vocal if he feels an injustice has been done but I don't remember him using excuses to explain away his boys' shoddy performances. When we won the opening match against Wigan, he was first to admit Chelsea didn't deserve the win. There were other instances I remember his voicing his unhappiness at the way the team played despite the winning ... mind you, that's winning. How many other high profile managers can you say the same of Wink

A few season ago , Arsenal were 10 pts ahead of MU , and they were invincible then .... and then MU beat them , and then what ? Their confidence shattered and they threw away the Title to MU .

Liverpool were winning 8 games on the trot this season , and then what ? MU beat us , and then what ? our confidence were abit shattered , and after that , we played 4 games , we lost 3 and drew 1 .

Well , in futbol , it just need , just a game to change the picture of the whole game .

The last thing Chelsea need was to lose a match . It's not about points , it's confidence that matters .
