Suicide is just an escape route,basically people who are cowards and dare not face up to reality..

Nope. It's sad to know that ur loved one give up on himself and you actually might be able to do something to stop him from ending his life.

I know very well the feeling of losting a loved one coz of a murder/accident.

Same,i lost a good bud due to a very unlikely/unfortunate freak accident..And its sorta me and my friends fault,cuz afterall we were the one's who got him interested in soccer and to be a goalkeeper,sad that he died saving a ball..

well forgive me, but if i may say, this is a very subjective thing. Sure maybe its your choice ultimately, but nobody enjoys losing a friend or family member in this way, so they will try to keep u alive. its only natural isn't it? If your friend encourages u to die, they're not true friends.

I wouldn't totally say that also. if u're hoping to galvanize someone who's depressed and suicidal, he's not going to care that u think he's a coward and hence not kill himself. indeed if anything u're more likely to make him do it to show he dun give a damn what u think.

I think, you, and many other people's problems are that all of u don't understand that a suicidal person is NOT interested in solving any problems. He/she is just interested in making the problem no longer theirs. Laughing

once they die, its not their problem anymore. THATs the real attraction.

Well sometimes religions comes into place here.A suicidal person is not interested in solving problems,half correct.Cause when people around him/her starts to help them,they'll lighten up..

i think religion can only help so much la. ultimately its up to the person to not kill himself. meaning has to be sought by oneself. im speaking from previous experience as a suicidal and sometimes still suicidal person. Laughing

Personally? The reason to suicide is important.

Jump from building
A person decided suicide because one cannot take the pressure in life anymore.
:::Background: Breadwinner of a family with four kids age ranging 4 - 10
Stock plunged and suffered Loss.

Jump from building
A person decided suicide because of cancer and did not want family to worry.
:::Background: Staying with Parents without relatives at all, three siblings trying to make ends meet. Three siblings have own families. Unable to think of any way to get money. Very poor.

Looking at extremes could be a better guide to see this situation and issue.
Each are different. Then it'll all depend on the few points stated above.

I want to die. I think I am unable to face the world. I hate the world. My bf/gf doesnt love me anymore. I failed in my exam. My parents shouted at me. I felt neglected. I think that nobody loves me. I want them to pay for what they have done/said to me. I feel useless. Life to me is meaningless. I am lonely. I am sad. Nobody understands me. I, I, I, I

This Life

My friend tells me
a man in my house jumped off the roof
the roof is the eighth floor of this building
the roof door was locked how did he manage?
his girlfriend had said goodbye I'm leaving
he was 22
his mother and father were hurrying
at that very moment
from upstate to help him move out of Brooklyn
they had heard about the girl

the people who usually look up
and call jump jump did not see him
the life savers who creep around the back staircases
and reach the roof's edge just in time
never got their chance he meant it he wanted
only one person to know

did he imagine that she would grieve
all her young life away tell everyone
this boy I kind of lived with last year
he died on account of me

my friend was not interested he said you're always
inventing stuff what I want to know how could he throw
