Yes Bonjela is one of the treatment in the form of gel
(antiseptic) which is used effectively to treat oral
ulcers...
It relieves pain and the discomfort in the mouth ulcers and also
sores...
There are so far hardly any side effects from most people who uses
it, but since it is a salicylate (like aspirin, ibuprofen,
ketoprofen and diclofenac), it may cause the blood to have a
prolonged bleeding time (clot slower). But of course, one has to
apply a lot or excessively to reach this side effect, so far it has
been quite okay.
When applied, it gets absorbed into the local of injury into the
blood circulation and clears away all the inflammatory chemicals
and this will reduce the pain and swelling.
