Hm.. I personally feel that spinners these days are very
different from the legendary spinners of the past. When I see
spinners at our local lanes.. the most common sight I notice are
balls at high speed, hitting the head pin, and wham! everything
flies.. very much like a hook bowler.
Whereas for the older spinners, esp from taiwan.. their ball will
hit the head pin, and carry down by the side.. mixing up all the
pins in the process.
Looking at the balls hook bowlers carry nowadays, they have a huge
advantage over spinners in competitions if the spinners play like
those that I see.. As much as we say spinners are not affected by
lane condititions, we're actually still affected by the oiling, and
the weight of pins.
So my view is that spinners are starting to lose out becos of their
pin reaction.. anyway, thats just my opinion
By the way, also looking for spinner balls. Anyone interested in
selling can private msg me or email me at [email protected]
