Spin Bowling Open Discussion

I thought it was a known fact that spinners are more consistent with their scores but hook bowlers or “hookers” as i like to call them can obtain a larger range of score..

i'm still learning the spin..

need to get more RPMs on the ball.. maybe a properly drilled ball will help coz the houseballs are kinda... uhh.. small Laughing

i would like to get a very light (9lb or 10lb) ball for myself... since my skill level is low, i would like a skull in a transparent ball Twisted Evil

i need practise! Razz

House ball holes are too big or too small for gripping comfort. Get serious, get a custom ball. Just get a 10-11lb ball from cash converter at less than $10 and spend another $30 replug and drill for your fingers.

Very true.

the Bear SG

still lost as dunno what "reactive ball" or whatever...

to me, it's just a ball... and i need a light one with a proper sized holes and grip..

Seems like spinner style is not at sunset. FIQ 2005 is dominated by spinners. Taiwanese, Singaporean and Chinese. Just like the time when Yang Cheng Ming rule the lanes. It makes me wonder if we have another spinner in the team to make it all spinners tean, maybe Jesmine Ho, will we take the Gold?

The Taiwanese Trio line up was scary man, Wang Yuling, Chou Miao Ling and Huang C Y. These are the most stable female spinners from the home of the spinners, Taiwan. No wonder they can take away our Gold from behind. But our own Alice Tay performed very well, she show that age is not a problem in bowling. Remember the time when the bowling power in Singapore wanted to give younger players more chance and remove some of the older players? Bad move, combination is best.
