Ding SG I am deeply sadden that the national team can lose 0-4 to Malaysia on our nation's soil In other football mad countries, this would be suicidal... many heads will roll...... Now I really agree with Jordan without a shallow of doubt that all funds channelled to Soccer and the so call 2010 worldcup finals is all but a dream Bowling didn't receive that much funding but it managed to produce world champions and many gold medals I sincerely feel that the sporting authority in S'pore should change their mindset and divert more funds to other sports if soccer carry to fail us Singaporeans again & again
Ian SG Singapore has a national soccer team!!?? i tot they were a group of malays and indians getting together for ball playing and drinking sessions! i tink our sunday opponents are better players than wat i saw on TV. put one Russel in and the their new forward in.. plus Jae and Tom at the back. SG sure win. Polsun or watever that dutch pervie's name is can go back home and coach his kids how to play fuschballz.
Ding SG I think if I'm watching this from the National Stadium, I might as well go up to the highest steps and jump down from there. So shameful to be thrashed 4-0 by Malaysia in our own soil Without even a single goal Think we are the only nation goaless at the moment. This is so disgraceful Where's that fighting spirit when you put on the national team jersey Do you fight & win the ball Quit soccer lah... The team last night obviously didn't give their best for Singapore. Wonder how they hang their heads now when they walk amongst their fellow countryman. If you wanna lose, lose fighting
sgboy2004 SG Must be a case of kelong again. singapore need water from M, so purposely lose to giv them face mah.
Ding SG At our homeground At our backyard The team last night may have known the feeling of "ostriches hiding their head underground" at the moment. No pride Everyone of the 40000 crowd should have spit a mouthful at the players and drown them all
windjammer SG Wat WC2010 u toking about???? With that kinda support from the government did sports received in Singapore??? NO way man... If i am not wrong when Toa Payoh Swimming Pool was opened many years back the VIP who was cutting the ribbons in the opening ceremony made a comment ... Sports is for recreation only... Do you know who said that???
Ding SG Because Malaysia beat us flat... and I mean FLAT Maybe she went down last night to cheer for the team
angè|heart SG heheheheh......i watch it on TV...when i saw the score 0-2.. sian liao....no need to watch...
Ding SG Heng, I don't get to watch the match. Else I'll most likely vomit blood all over the TV set(my family will vomit together) then will have to get a new set. Anyway, it's the inner part of me that's hurt the most. Very upsetting... luckily I don't have many Malaysia friends...... else kanna suan every now and then till the next time S'pore-Malaysia meet again
windjammer SG well if u hv time go and look at the plaque there... hint... the father of singapore since independence.....
Ding SG But anyway, my point is to distribute the funds more evenly among the sports that we have(bowling ) and not spend too much on soccer. Comparing all factors, soccer don't deserve so much as compared to bowling
