Both Rockhound and Deino are right.
UMPC is not suitable for you.
I for a while was very interested with the Asus eeePC until I
checked it out at Sitex.
At almost $600, the functions are just marginal. The only UMPC with
comparable performance to a notebook I can find is from Sony but
the price is about $4000.
My suggestion will be to invest in a good notebook with at least 3
years full warranty. And save the hassle of having it breaking down
often and sending for servicing.
I won't recommend you any particular brand or models. Just for your
info, I currently own an Asus Gaming notebook at home and a 3 year+
HP business notebook at work. Bothare 14" and above full notebook,
so not in the ultra-portable notebook class.
