In Windows Task Manager, the networking tab will show Local Area Connection, this is referring to the LAN port which looks similar to a telephone connector (...

The road leading to my masion is narrow and old so i get the contractors to hack them off and make them wide. That's gauranteed!

But AYE's jammed and everyone switched to PIE so my friends can't get to me on time and i can't move out to my friend's house on time too.

But once the traffic along the expressway clears i told my friend with a narrow road to his mansion to open up the way so that his convoy of friends can get there faster on a wider road.

From what I read, the Samsung cable modem is for Macs only. The modem switch at the mains should be the answer to your problems.

NOTICE
----------
Changes to take note of:
Maxonline 6000 is now Maxonline Express. Name change.
Maxonline 12000 is now Maxonline Premium. Name change.
Maxonline Flexisurf 6000 is now Maxonline Flexisurf Express. Name change.

Maxonline Ultimate. No name change.
With the introduction of DOCSIS 3.0, Maxonline Ultimate can now deliver maximum speeds of 100 Mbps (downstream), 2 Mbps (upstream).

http://broadband.motorola.com/catalog/productdetail.asp?ProductID=486

To use the maximum speeds stated, you will need to use the cable modem described in the link given above. Motorola SB6100 is the ONLY cable modem compatible with DOCSIS 3.0 and is currently the only cable modem Starhub approves for Maxonline Ultimate's maximum speeds.

Starhub launched its 100 Mbps service as an act of revenge for the Singnet VS Starhub advertisement shown on tv.

Maximum physical speeds w/o speed caps achieved by the different versions of DOCSIS:
1.0- 38 Mbps(downstream), 10 Mbps(upstream)
2.0- 40 Mbps(downstream), 30 Mbps(upstream)
3.0- 160 Mbps(downstream), 120 Mbps(upstream)

XTransbus SG

press ctrl+alt+del. The press networking tab. See Link speed,if you have 100mbps and beside it got write 5%, you’re using 5mbps (5% of 100mbps)

Manager433 SG

Just clink the first link. And click the 'start' button to get the testing.

N|ck SG

aye I am using the ultra old modem, like the time when starhub introduced their broadband service for the first time. cannot hor?

ceecookie SG

I repeat.

For those using 12000 MOL and higher, check if ur modem is DOCSIS 1.1 and higher.

DOCSIS 1.0 modem = not compatible with faster than 6k speed.
Change to 1.1 and higher first.
You should be only getting around 6mbps due to hardware limitation

Manager433 SG

Confirmed cannot. You can try click the 2nd link to check your modem can support or not.

noahnoah SG
