Melodeo Inks Podcast Cellular Deal

Melodeo Inc. is providing podcasting technology to Rogers Wireless, a Canadian communications service provider, the company said Wednesday.

The deal allows mobile-phone subscribers to download more than 1,500 news, sports and comedy podcasts wirelessly onto their cell phones through Rogers Podcast Service. Melodeo is working on similar agreements with U.S. carriers.
