Anyway,tire flips is very lower body intensive,you need to have a decent base strength in the lower body movements first before attempting the flip.

Btw, he's the friend that I mentioned don't take any protein powder nor creatine at all.

sorry man but i really doubt the weight of the tire.

during my practise for the 2006 strongman, we had this 260kg tire and NO ONE, not even the mighty Elvin can flip it for more than 4 times. Only Taufiq could flip only 6 times and took alot alot of effort.

Bro,I doubt the weight of your tire...I think more likely yours is 360kg or more instead! Wink

I don't know what to say fishbuff. Maybe the treading was different, or the height, or the grip, or something. Or maybe practice makes perfect(and Ben has had quite a bit of practice). I don't think many people managed to flip it the first time they tried. The tire has been weighed and it is 247kg...Chaar has also mentioned that it's heavier than the 235kg tire used in this year's competition...besides 247kg isn't really that heavy. If you search youtube, there are people flipping tires that are more than twice as heavy as this...

Yeah,the first time I did tire flipping,I tried to lift the tire 6 times before it finally went up a few inches...

That's usually the case when you try to deadlift the thing up. I was lucky I knew I couldn't deadlift it up so I pushed against it as well, so up it went Smile
