BECKHAM ... laid on goals with accurate
crosses
Becks made two of the goals in Milan’s 3-0 win at
Lazio. Brazilian Alexandre Pato netted his 10th league goal of the
season when he tapped in a Beckham cross on 42 minutes. Then an
unmarked Massimo Ambrosini headed in Becks’ free-kick at the far
post shortly after the break.
Kaka rounded off the win with a cool finish late on.
Lazio had a number of chances with Milan goalkeeper Christian
Abbiati saving well at Mauro Zarate’s feet while Goran Pandev shot
just over.
Becks, 33, on loan at the San Siro from MLS side LA
Galaxy has hit top form since returning to the big
league. Last week he put in an impressive performace in front
of England manager Fabio Capello, lashing home a free-kick in the
1-1 draw with Genoa before limping off with a hamstring injury.
Capello looks certain to include him in his squad for
the England friendly against Spain in Seville on February 11
