Er.. as far as i understand,
installin turbocharger on a stock NA car
requires separate allocation & re-mapping of e engine bay &
undercarriage,
cause turbochargin process involves waste gases from engine
to power e turbines, aiming to increasing airflow,
& ultimately, increase combustion.
This remappin & re-designing is not easy; takes lotsa time
& hard work,
& in case u didn't know, u can't jus install turbocharger
alone.
U hav to strengthen e engine parts & chasis to match up to e
power output.
Different cars must b re-designed differently.
Hav to think bout HOW & WHERE to squeeze e turbine, intercooler
in e engine bay,
And think bout all e $ involved.
& yea, your new turbo car has to pass LTA
exhaust & noise emission requirements b4 u can drive on
road,
if not.. suay lor.. gotta remove tat turbo.
Each part of e turbocharger has to be individually registered with
LTA,
& e garage has to submit e proposed layout of e
undercarriage
& engine bay to LTA for approval of use.
Is not as easy like u can just "bolt-on & use instantly"
stuff.
u can consult any performance workshop & garages to find out
more.
Above is e "By Right" way. If u want "By Left" way,
jus go to any Tom Dick Harry workshop & illegally install
one,
& not only risk getting caught,
but also risk turbine leak & engine failure in e long run if
not
designed & installed properly.
