Reading Body Language
Correctly
When you DO catch a woman looking you over,
verify her interest to eliminate the possibility that she just
caught your gaze by mistake. How? If you catch her looking at you
and she holds your glance, smile at her. If she turns her gaze away
from you, don’t be dejected; wait if she sends any more looks your
way. If she finds you appealing, she will definitely want to look
at you again and when she does, smile at her again! She’ll either
smile back or glance away with a blush of embarrassment. If she
looks back at you for the third time, you know you’ve got her
attention. Take note that this does not happen every day but the
more you circulate and the more women you meet, very likely you
will find one that is interested in you. It takes practice,
man!
Once
you have met a woman in this manner you need to make the next move.
By then she would know that you’ve successfully picked up on her
nonverbal language and she’ll expect you to come her way. Don’t go
rushing in and always take your time but don’t take too long
otherwise she might think you did not catch her signal. Prolonging
your approach gives you the benefit of making her anticipate
meeting you. The more chances you give a woman to look forward to
something, the happier she will be.
Never approach a woman directly and don’t
introduce yourself right away rather it is best to make a comment
about something in your environment. If she responds in a friendly
manner, immediately engage her in a friendly
banter.
Most common body language women send and
their meanings:
All Systems Go! These nonverbal and verbal signals can take on the
form of a wink, subtly turning her body in your direction,
displaying her body to best advantage, leaving her group of friends
to go to the powder room, holding your gaze for 2 seconds or more,
accidentally touching you or letting you touch her (accidentally,
of course!), playing with her hair, stroking her wineglass, smiling
at you or talking animatedly with her friends within your hearing.
If, after you approach her and engage in a friendly banter, she
allows you to lead her away from her friends to a quieter spot or
if she sits next to you with her body turned towards yours, it
means all systems go!
Proceed with Caution. These are tentative nonverbal and cues which
include nervous laughter, body turned to the side and not talking
much. It’s up to you to stoke the fire and make it a
flame.
Stop! These signals are silence, frowning, avoiding eye
contact, turning her body away from you, back off, constantly
checking out the room around you, persistent interruption of your
conversation to talk to someone else, crossed arms and sitting with
a straight back with her legs tightly crossed.
If you will be very observant and pay
attention to a woman’s body language, you can tell outright if
she’s interested in you.
Common signs of how a woman shows interest
in a man:
·
If she smiles at you frequently
and at times reveals her teeth in a relaxed manner when she
smiles.
·
Looks you in the eyes with
interest.
·
Occasional biting of her lips
and reveals her tongue to lick her lips or touch her front
teeth.
·
A slow and deliberate caress of
her glass while having a conversation with you.
·
Frequent adjustment of posture
to project herself in the best way possible.
Crossing of her legs with the
crossed leg pointed towards you or rocks back and forth at your
direction.
Raises or lowers the volume of
her voice to match yours, mimics your actions and
gestures.
Blowing smoke from between her
lips towards your direction, winking at you while talking to you or
from a distance.
Use these basic guidelines on women’s body
language to make it easier for you to approach women. With constant
practice you would soon become a master of the art and remember to
always send out feelers first before approaching a
girl.
