Hmm..well…Christmas in prison not so bad. On the evening of
Christmas Eve, there are Christian volunteers, males and females
choir, will be carolling for the inmates while they are all lock-up
in their cells. After each carolling songs, all the inmates will
cheer and clap their hands for them. Early next morning on
Christmas, the Christian inmates will be release from their cells
early to attend church service. All inmates will have the whole day
yard time and watch movies in the mess hall. Special dishes for all
inmates will be like chicken rice or bryani chicken but those
inmates celebrating Christmas will have additional special dishes
like turkey and desserts.
Every inmates look forward to festive season holidays while
serving their time because it means they can enjoy the little
freedom in the yard whole day from 8am to 5pm to play games,
watching movies, exercise, do their laundry, bathe the whole day
etc.
