I don't have access to Autocar Asean in Australia. We have Motor magazine and Wheels magazine over here. They seemed to rate the MPS quite highly.

its easy to read a motoring magazine.. its another thing to apply common sense and physics knowledge to what u have read...

whereas ur warp experience came frm meaningless drag races.... only appreciating the brute strength and neglecting the other aspects of what makes a good car...

i have driven my mazda 3 2 litre for 2.5 yrs....i have travelled around western australia and it is now in victoria....never had a single problem. but if i were u i would get a 2nd hand and cut down on your depreciation losses. too bad when i bought my car there were no decent 1-2yr old cars in this class so i bought it new.

btw the FC of this car can beat a toyota corolla 1.8. tested and proven on road trip with 2 cars driving together

Lol! I can find numerous reviews that give the MPS a good rating... so there you go. You should stop passing judgment on cars that you have never driven. It seems that the only experience you have with performance cars is from what you read on the internet...
