The chrysler driver who actually netted an MP's monthly allowance without flouting LTA regulations surely has no time to eat properly, drink properly, sleep properly, shit properly, pee properly and certainly got no time to shop for LV bags. After one month of MPS (meet the performance saloon), he would have aged by a year. No smiles and very haggard looking.

This a real data from two Sonata drivers A and B. as from today morning, after that go for breaktime at10.40am.

Both drivers are from two town not the same starting points, note.

This is what i got from them the printout.

The reason is just for sharing, this are actual outing a normal dayshift driver is doing.

If 5k that easy, than why are you still waiting?

how can that Black Chrysler do wonderful things and Sonata can't do as good as them.

Black Chrysler never do street run only lobang, how can that be?

Seen many of them been rejected by road paxs, and only hopping into Sonata any other normal cabs.

How much they can earn as like this 2 half hours Sonata without 35% surcharge, as like today. no corporate clients.

So 5k is very questionable?

I have got a LakeView colleague ....

He said after he passed his TVDL , he also like any other drivers , chiong OMO .

He chose to OMO a Silver Kia .

He said during his first month , drove average 15 hours daily , nett income $10000 .

Second month .... punctured . Accidents several times . Resigned from Premier .

That was before he joined LV .

It is possible to get $10,000 .

Not everyone .

But certainly for some newbies .

First few months very aggressive .

But for how long ?

15 hours daily .... 31 days consecutive .

Very easy to die one like that .

Morning sleep , 2pm start work .

6am stop work .

Sleep .

2pm start work , 6am stop .

What the f*ck ?

No life .

Taxi > Sleep > Taxi > Sleep > Taxi > Sleep .

To actually calculate how they get $10000 each month .

Very easy one .

$10,000 divided by 31 days .

As in per day net profit $323 .

$323 plus rental $150

Daily collection before diesel $473 .

Say he consumed $50 diesel .

Total he must succeed in collecting is $523 .

If u divide per hour basis , for 15 hours .

Per hour he must succeed in getting $35 .

For Chrysler , per hour to get $35 , personally i think it's possible !!

As what i know , Chrysler their group networking quite good .

Again , fundamentally , if one has good personal contact . Maybe for some "hot" month , $10000 is achievable .

But never i to believe , everyday Sunday .

If i say i ever earn $6000 a month , only once in my lifetime as a taxi driver , for only one Christmas December holiday ..... For a Chrysler , base on current market , , fare structures , demands and networking , december to get $10000 for them , there will be some who can actually achieve it , not many .

But i think i can say it very loud , Chrysler to earn $5k a month , closed 2 eyes !

If OMO Chrysler cannot earn $5K , if one isn't capable of earning that figure as OMO , base on their fare structure or networking , that chap jolly well go and drive a Sonata .

Nothing more than that .

Dun tell me $12000 , or even $11k ..... impossible .

$10k is to neck level liao , a bit more will be like submerge into the water level .

From experience , i would say it is possible for some minority of Chrylser drivers that can earned $10k .

I never say all of them can earn $10k .

What I feel about TD driving a Chrylser can;
- Can tahun passengers reject your cab.
- Can give discount if really not enough earning that day.
- Can waste diseal to drive back to city if no one take his cab at HDB heartland.
- Can jam up a taxi stand by obstructing passengers to board other taxis.
- Can have various contacts to capture more business for themselves to hit this $10k target monthly.

If you mention that he earn $10k, it is not impossible but not everyday. One Chrylser queue behind me this Synday morning at T3 abt 2.20am and I waited until 3.54am to ferry my pax to Woodlands. This is a Qingdao flight, can you imagine if he queued for so long and those china paxes reject his taxi, then he wasted his 1.5hrs queuing for nothing. I really salute to him. If OMO can’t earn $5000 amount, then they better drive a Merc Cab.

I OMO, sleep 6hrs a day, works 12-15hrs. Earn so much is to supplement Singapore economic and partially contribute my earning to the ministers pay. Many thanks to Singapore and me, and you hardworking TDs out there. It is not easy income as many ppl thought.

OMO Chrysler diesel costs per day is certainly more than $50, unless he is a durian head. The other possibility is that the cabby is just aiming his previous target as a mercedes driver but in a nicer car.
