The SAF Boy’s School closed on 18th March
1984. Shouldn’t have closed it because it would actually help those
young male Singaporeans to pursue his military career and excel in
his civilian life later on.

A march down memory lane
Imagine this: you enter the military and lead a regimented life
from the tender age of 14. You wear the Army uniform, carry a rifle
and learn military tactics and concepts daily, but this is not your
Co-curricular Activity (CCA). This might have been a nightmare for
most teens, but this bunch of boys (now men, of course) volunteered
for such a life back in 1977 at the SAF Boys’
School (SAFBS).
