THE Housing Board has put up for tender a piece of land at
Punggol Field Walk.
This land is used by many residents for picnics, kite-flying,
running, cycling and other activities.
There is plenty of land available for development in Punggol and
I hope the authorities will consider leaving this plot alone, so
that residents can continue to enjoy the green space.
Moreover, it is always a welcome sight for 'Punggolites' to come
home from the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway and see such lovely
greenery as they enter Punggol Town.
