Junyang700 SG Monitor lizard spotted 'swimming leisurely' at canal opposite KK Hospital STOMPer Mrs Chia spotted what appears to be a monitor lizard at a canal opposite KK Hospital. According the STOMPer, the creature was about 50cm in length. Similar creatures have been spotted previously at the Chinese Gardens, and Rivervale Crescent. Mrs Chia says: "Spotted this reptile swimming leisurely in the canal opposite KK Hospital. "It appeared to be 50cm or more in length. "I called the police. "The creature was crawling into a drain headed towards LTA (Land Transport Authority) when I last saw it."
