You were never interested in good English at all.
That is just your pride, that you want to flaunt, and heighten the
experience by degrading others.
You have a personality disorder. OCD.
Ask the Americans, they'll tell you the world revolves around the
USA.
Ask the Iranians, they'll tell you the world revolves around
Iran.
Ask the N. Koreans, they'll tell you the world revolves around
North Korea.
Ask the Malaysians, they'll tell you the world revolves around
Malaysia.
Ask the Indians, they'll tell you the world revolves around
India.
Ask the French, they'll tell you the world revolves around
France.
Ask any one, who has pride in their country, they'll tell you the
world revolves around their country.
Unfortunately, in your case, you are proud you mastered the white
mans ways, and now look down on your own.
Singapore has its own share of detractors, who are always hovering
around, nit-picking, asking why can't Singapore be
like......London, New York, Hong Kong,... this or that. You're one
of them.
Ask yourself just what are you doing in this forum?
Do you not revolve around Singapore too? Like a gnome.
You deny yourself. You are not your own person. What can be worse
than that?
