release the clutch slowly, and in the meantime step on the accelerator, and slowly release more until your car starts to move.

I always step on accelerator first before engaging biting point...even when going up the slope! Laughing

Feeling of the biting point differ loh,some cars too hign or some too low… Nv had the chance to drive civillian car,i drive landrover and 3 tonner which have clutch.. Muz feel for it wan… Practise more and the legs codination muz be good,release till biting point,let go brake and press on the gas slowly,then release clutch slowly when pressing the gas… Hope that helps…

2nd my fren say dont change to auto manual better.(can drive both type)

FYI: i currently using nissan sunny from 1st lesson till now....

i had change my shoe but still happened.

when stop at traffic light, i brake and clutch together when the green man almost turn to red man.

i will do the half clutch with the brake depressed due to 3rd lesson the car roll back ( uneven road n gentle upslope) i really nervous. i was about to depress the Accelerator the engine stall.

Recall: last time i depress the accelerator with half clutch the engine stall, the instructor say over bitting point.

Maybe you want to practise feeling the biting point using handbrake start? It’s useful on slopes as well.

Apply handbrake when red light then get ur biting point,like that when the green light is on,release the handbrake and move off…

yes it does. everycar has a different biting point.

First time I attempted that at CDC, I overrevved and half-clutched for too long.

After the car moved up the slope and is making its way down on the other end...

Instructor: Do u smell something BURNING?

me: Sniff...yeah...wad is it ar?

Instructor: Your Clutch burning la!!! Next time release the handbrake earlier! And dun REV so much...this is not Daytona USA!
